Blues Band School - Music Education for Adults

Join a Blues Band by attending weekly one hour classes and learning well known early blues classics like Killing Floor, Dust My Blues, I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man and many others. While studying with the Ann Arbor Music Center's Blues and Jazz Band Director Dave Sharp, Blues Band Members gain the experience of soloing, playing rhythm, playing introductions, working out endings and maximizing your musical strengths to make a great sounding band. Live performances are part of this program, and give you the experience of playing a live show at an authentic music venue!

Equipment & Tuition

Blues Band Members meet weekly with an instructor in the Ann Arbor Music Center band room on 733 N. Main St. We provide amplifiers, drums, a PA, instrument cables, music stands, stools and chairs for your band class. Tuition is $30 per week, and is billed monthly (i.e. tuition for 4 classes-$120).
