The Ann Arbor Music Center offers jazz band classes for youths and adults. The Youth Jazz Band Class meets every Wednesday at 6pm, and is an excellent supplement for any middle or high school jazz program. This class focuses on playing in an ensemble, improvisation and reading charts of well known jazz standards. Tuition is $25 per class and is billed monthly. Blues Band Members meet weekly with an instructor in the Ann Arbor Music Center band room on 733 N. Main St. We provide amplifiers, drums, a PA, instrument cables, music stands, stools and chairs for your band class. Tuition is $30 per week, and is billed monthly (i.e. tuition for 4 classes-$120).
